Ode to Brian (haha)!

This week has been absolutely crazy...

So much going on in both of our lives.

Today was the first time (in a long time due to Brian's work schedule) that we were able to spend ALL day together and I am feeling so blessed right now.

We just got back home, from our evening service at church and from spending an awesome afternoon with my family to celebrate my Papa's 90th birthday (he is an amazing man)! After such a wonderful day together....I can not help but smile when I think about my husband. He is beyond incredible!

I am so proud of him and all of his accomplishments...I'm just so proud and blessed to call him my husband. We've been married a little more than a year now and that word....husband...never gets old. He loves me unconditionally...inside and out (flaws and all!!) but yet we are continuing to build each other up in Christ and live our lives according to His Word.

Brian makes me laugh every day and I am truly honored to be his wife and to have him as my best friend. I pray that our marriage continues on the path it is on...we are certainly not perfect but I love the time I spend with my husband and I pray that never gets old :)

I am also very thankful that he never has to do night float ever again! Maybe that's why I'm in such a good mood...hahaha!!

Days Like Today

I absolutely love days like today....

Cloudy with a touch of rain and not a whole lot overtaking my usually crowded "to do" list.

It's been nice to run a couple of errands, after the rain this morning and then spend my afternoon taking care of emails, phone calls and all of the other fun work stuff....

It's really nice to do all this curled up on my own couch.

Looks like we have another day like this tomorrow....and I'm looking forward to it!

I can't wait to live right around the corner from Lake Sammamish in WA.

How much fun to pack a picnic, load up the pups, go for a boat ride and soak up some sun...

Rise and Shine

For some reason I am awake bright and early on this Saturday morning...

Why can't I ever seem to have this energy during the week?

I took advantage of this quiet time and decided to spend this precious time with our Lord.

What a wonderful way to get the day started...

Just to sit and read and pray...no "to do" list to worry about yet....just nice meditation time and time to study His Word.

This morning I really focused on reading and praying about marriage....

Brian and I are truly blessed.

I thank our Lord everyday for bringing Brian and I together...I am so grateful :)

Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor.

For if they fall, one will lift up his companion.

Ecclesiastes 4:9-10
